Episode 2 : Tips budget vacation ( Melaka Edition )
Today I want to share with you how to go vacay without spend a lot of money. Mostly suitable and applied for student or backpackers. Not recommended for family holiday.
TIPS AND TRICKS
- Pergi trip by group!
What I mean by group, ajakla your friends to join you or plan a vacation with your friend earlier. This will lower down your cost since you can share a lot of things. Trust me it works! For example, you boleh kongsi bilik and share your transport cost. Macam I, I plan with my friends nak pergi vacay together so kitaorang pergi 10 orang. Like it really jimat sebab when you divide by 10 it turns out sikit je you kena bayar per person. Selain daripada bayar murah you boleh have fun sebab you were surrounded with your friend so tak malu.

- Used your own car instead of renting a car!
Applied this if you plan nak pergi tempat yang tak jauh sangat which is max masa perjalanan around 4 hours and more than 2 days. Kalau you sewa maybe tinggi sikit kos lagi - lagi kalau it takes more than a days. Since kitaorang pergi Melaka je, we decide to used our own car. Kitaorang ambik 2 kereta which is Honda City and Perodua Myvi. Guess what? Satu tank je pun da cukup actually for 3 days and tol was below RM25 (pergi-balik)
- Book online hotel!
This means book your room or homestay through online booking! Selalunya akan dapat discount or you can bandingkan which one yang murah yet in a good condition. Please remember to do a survey and read the reviews about the hotel yang you booking before book! Macam I, we already booked 3 rooms since dia ada cakap yang each rooms boleh masuk 3 - 4 people but when we arrived it turns out only 2 person per room!! Like seriously dia memang tak bagi masuk untuk yang lain. So after a bit of discussion finally we manage to settle it and decide to book another room. Nasib still under our budget. Luckily the hotel we stay memuaskan la not bad!
- Plan your journey!
Its better to plan your trip rather than go a spontan trip. Sebab if you dah plan earlier you know mana nak pergi and takla kelam kabut or rushing! You dah tahu ticket per entry and tahu if ada discount or promotion on certain place. It is easier for you to budget your money.

If there is someone who wanted to sponsor you, lagi rendah la cost kan? Tak payah cari sampai sponsor full trip! ( IF YOU FIND ONE YOU R LUCKY ) Macam I, one of my friend memang stay at Melaka so for the first night we slept at her homestay and guest what not only that her parents pun sponsor us for our BBQ nigh and coconut shake sedap! Alhamdulillah grateful enough.
- Enjoyable place rather than fancy place!
If you pergi dengan kawan please choose untuk pergi tempat yang you boleh have fun dengan kawan! Jangan pergi tempat yang you kena pergi untuk show off je and you cant enjoy pun at that place. kan dah membazir? hahahaha Contohnya, I rather to spend my time dekat pantai lepak and tengok scenery
